You should hold a PhD (awarded or submitted pending examination) in Spanish Studies and have a native or near-native competence in Spanish. At Lecturer level you should have a research and publication record in Spanish Studies, or be able to demonstrate the potential to make a significant contribution to scholarship in the area, whilst at Senior Lecturer
