Working with colleagues and clients/users to investigate operational requirements and problems, contributing to improvements in information systems, data management, processes/procedures, organisation and equipment. You will work with colleagues and clients/users in specifying information flows, processes/procedures and data objects that will meet the business requirements Requirements You will be required to work with Documents using the required standards, methods and tools. Take part in client/user meetings and assists in presenting issues and solutions both orally and in writing. You will be required to assists in defining, estimating, planning and justifying (in business terms) projects to develop/implement automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes Assists colleagues and clients/users in defining acceptance tests for automated systems Responsibilities You will be responsible for Acquiring and understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts, ensuring nothing is overlooked, and identifying the relationships between these parts (using techniques such as analysis, eliciting requirements, estimating and scope change management). Identifying options and recommending a solution. You will be responsible for delivering best use of available tools and Methodologies (such as Project Gates, Waterfall, Agile, DSDM) to achieve effective solution delivery. You will Participate in and being aware of strategic goals and impact as part of project delivery. Understanding the hierarchy, decision-making and culture of own, customer and supplier organisations and being able to identify the decision makers and influencers. Industry Knowledge - Ensuring that project deliverables are fit for purpose and delivered to meet customer expectations using agreed quality plans, project level controls and assurance. This also includes taking into account regulatory and legal environment and industry wide practices (e.g. FSA, DPA, OfCom, ITIL, DDA). The Individual Ideal candidates need to have strong Decision-Making skills - Taking ownership to analyse and resolve problems proactively by making appropriate decisions, taking into account the needs of the situation, priorities, constraints and the availability of necessary information .Adaptability - Taking account of new information or changed circumstances and modifying understanding of a problem or situation then taking the appropriate course of action. You will have good Planning and Organising skills - Retaining objectivity and clear understanding of problems and situations when faced with time pressure and determining an achievable course of action by breaking it down into smaller steps. This will be done by planning these steps, making appropriate allowance for the level of risk. This includes time management, estimating and planning, change management (scope), accurate control, and reporting of progress. Communication - Able to identify, manage and communicate effectively with all stakeholders by influencing and persuading them to take a specific course of action. Able to listen actively and express ideas and facts in a clear and confident manner both verbally and non-verbally. This includes reporting, presentation skills, meeting management, facilitation and negotiation. Collaborating, developing and mentoring others - Working collaboratively to help and support colleagues to understand their values, needs, goals and limitations and coaching them how they can develop their effectiveness and reach their full potential You will also possess experience in a commercial/administrative/industrial environment Shows a systematic, analytical approach to problem solving. You should have good interpersonal skills and is confident in dealing with clients/users. Awareness of the software engineering life-cycle for development and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems. The purpose of department is to earn our customer's loyalty and advocacy post-sale thereby extending the depth and breadth of their relationship with CPW. Customer Management is made up 3 core business functions. Contact Centre - Offering post-sale service support to CPW managed customer base through 3 contact centres in UK answering more than million calls and responding to more than 10000 emails / letters every month. Lifeline - A brand name of CPW insurance policy, offering variety of insurance policies for CPW mobile customers Customer Experience - a relatively new department within the Customer Management business unit. It has a remit to enhance the post sales Customer Experience, through a better understanding of customer needs, better processes, better systems. It is divided into 5 distinct teams · Currently within CPW no one single area owns and is accountable for the post-sale operational processes that support significant transactional volumes e.g. Provisioning new customers or upgraded customers accurately and quickly on to their purchased service, tariff and bundle Efficiently, accurately and quickly handling returns and or disconnections for those customers wishing to leave CPW Processing, qualifying and paying/rejecting cashback/chequeback claims As a result post-sale customer issues are often inefficiently and ineffectively resolved, resulting in CPW having to offer the customer a credit or goodwill payment to offset the poor customer experience delivered Requirements You will be required to take ownership of and accountability for, various post sale operational processes relating to the product or service bought by our customers e.g. provisioning, disconnections, top-ups, redemptions, post-sale 'freebies' (laptops,PS3's, Wii's etc) · To build, document, deploy, monitor, maintain and improve the CPW processes for current propositions offered to our customers · Build and deploy standard operating procedures · Work with CPW Business Change Team to develop, sign-off and operationalise processes for new propositions and services · To proactively work with key business stakeholders to ensure that the required improvements or developments are signed-off, placed on the roadmap and are delivered on-time to the correct specification and quality · To be a subject matter expert for post-sale operational, proposition delivery and fulfilment, to identify opportunities for improvement, deliver and implement industry operational best practices · To proactively work with key business stakeholders to ensure that the required improvements or developments are signed-off, placed on the roadmap and are delivered on-time to the correct specification and quality · To contribute to the on-going development of a 'best in class' Customer Experience philosophy supported by defined processes and procedures Responsibilities Further responsibilities are to develop and proactively manage the expectations of the stakeholders from both internal & external partners. o Internal Partners: Immediate team of Customer Experience - Knowledge Management and Contact management Other departments within Customer Management - Contact Centres - Planning Team, Customer Service Managers, Contact Centre Managers, Team Managers, Wider areas of the CPW UK mobile businessBusiness Change Function, Group Information Systems, Direct Sales Channel, Retail Channel, Billing, Technology, E-commerce, Legal etc.External Partners: External technology vendors, solution and service providers, consultants etc. as appropriate · Reduced customer contact · Reduced credits and goodwill payments issued to customers · Improved process efficiency and compliance · Improved revenue · Reduced costs · Improved customer satisfaction Improved Net Promoter Score The Individual Ideal candidates for this role need to have proven operational expertise gained from working in the services sector · Proven understanding of customer management/operational processes and best practices within industry · Process design, re-engineering and documentation skills · Good analytical and commercial skills · Working Knowledge of MS office · Excellent written and oral communications, reporting and presentation skills · Educated up to degree level or equivalent work experience · Able to handle responsibility and make timely decisions · Able to work confidently in a changing and fast paced environment · Self-motivating and an appetite for significant and confident decision-making. · An enthusiastic team player with a flexible attitude. · Has the ability to work outside of traditional ways of thinking · Analytical detail and thinking · Needs to be able to 'negotiate with authority'. · Frequently resources are not dedicated to projects and the project manager will need to ensure delivery within these constraints. · Pragmatic, customer driven, excellent leadership, team-working and interpersonal skills;
