Passionate about children of all ages and abilities being aware of their rights? This could be the role for you. You will be qualified ( DipSW, Youth and Community, Legal, Nursing or Teaching at degree level) to take forward the children's rights and participation strategy for looked after children in Cheshire. You will have excellent communication skills with children and young people of all ages, and be able to work effectively with partners in both the statutory and voluntary sector. You will be expected to organise consultation events, run regular groups, report to the Children in Care Council, deliver rights and participation training and support children and young people in developing our service. Working independently as well as with different partner agencies would be an advantage. Expertise working with disabled children and / or under 11s will be particularly welcomed.
