to become part of the QA team as a LABORATORY TECHNICIAN Key Responsibilities: - Maintaining the SATRA approved Laboratory status by ensuring the relevant documentation is kept to the required standard. - Deal with SATRA auditors on site visit audits. - Carry out various footwear component tests in line with the SATRA test methods, record the findings and report appropriately to the Technical members with the QA Team. - Maintain the test equipment. - Learn new skills and undergo SATRA
Contract: Industry sectors:Scientific & PharmaceuticalThe Sutton Group of Companies An excellent opportunity has arisen for a self motivated individual to become part of the QA team as a LABORATORY TECHNICIAN Key Responsibilities: - Maintaining the SATRA approved Laboratory status by ensuring the relevant documentation is kept to the required standard. - Deal with SATRA auditors on site visit audits. - Carry out various footwear component tests in line with the SATRA test methods, record the findings and report appropriately to the Technical members with the QA Team. - Maintain the test equipment. - Learn new skills and undergo SATRA assessment. - Keeping the cleanliness of the laboratory and equipment to a high standard. The Ideal Candidate: - 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent. - Be self motivated and work both independently and within a team. - Be able to prioritise tasks to meet the needs of the technical team. - Be able to work to deadlines and work well under pressure. - Footwear product knowledge desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
