Carville Road is a specialist service in Wallsend, providing support and enabling fourteen individuals to develop and maintain their independence and cognitive skills. These individuals may be experiencing drastic personal changes and exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their brain injury. We are now seeking to recruit a motivated and dedicated staff team: Support Workers (Ref:1846) £5.83 - £6.48 per hour - Full time/Part time/Bank We are seeking caring, committed individuals who can make a positive contribution by helping service users achieve independent and ordinary lifestyles. In addition, you will work as part of a team. Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given to achieve a requirement of an NVQ Level 2. RESIDENTIAL CHILD CARE WORKERS - Dumfries and Galloway Full Time £15,119-£22,038 (Plus Benefits) pro rata for Part Time Sessional: £7.86-£11.45 per hour You will be compassionate, have a genuine enthusiasm and interest in working with young people. Relevant work experience and/or a qualification is preferable although induction, support and full training will be provided. An understanding of the issues that affect the young people being looked after is always important. A full driving licence and access to a car is essential given the location of the services and all roles will involve shift work, including regular sleepovers. All care posts are subject to satisfactory references and Enhanced Disclosure checks. All salaries will be linked to competency with progression available via our appraisal system.
