You will be required to manage the assessment of health needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of care for the prison population of around 600 aged from 25 upwards. This will be achieved through the clinics we currently run for long term conditions such as Diabetes, Asthma, CHD, Primary Care Mental Health and many more. There will be a chance to develop your nursing skills through the many different learning opportunities we experience in HMP The Verne and the chance to attend courses facilitated by the PCT.
