PUPIL WELFARE ASSISTANT / HEALTHY SCHOOLS COORDINATOR 30 hours per Week (term time only) Salary (depending upon experience) £12,774-£14,010 We are looking for a highly competent and adaptable person to join our experienced and friendly team of support staff. This is a term-time only post. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the school's medical first aid facilities, including the care and supervision of students referred for treatment or assistance, as well as assisting with other administrative tasks. You will also be responsible for ensuring The Chase maintains its status as a 'Healthy School,' working closely with staff, governors and outside agencies. You must hold a nursing qualification and have, or be willing to obtain, a current First Aid at Work Certificate (for which training will be given if necessary). You should also be computer literate (with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office) and enjoy working as part of a team. You should: ● be a committed and caring professional ● have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times ● enjoy working with young people, and as part of a team ● have the vision to continue to develop the role in line with the school's needs The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure (Police Check) undertaken by the Criminal Records Bureau. Experience of working within a school environment and knowledge of the SIMS package is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
