Petrochemical Process Engineer / Consultant - Surrey You will develop profit improvement solutions using your process and technical knowledge, process modelling skills, spreadsheet calculations, and client test runs. You will facilitate their implementation to deliver bottom line results through written reports and presentations to clients in formal and informal meetings. You must be able to work well as a member of an Engagement Team, integrating process knowledge and model results to deliver profit improvement solutions. Consultants will also be expected to assist in sales visits and proposal preparation. Qualifications A BSc in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years relevant process experience in aromatics production, 5 years of which should have been in a Technical Support environment. Experience in benchmarking, plant improvement, unit optimisation and revamp studies; an intimate knowledge of technology, operations and economics are required. Similar technical expertise in the refinery sector (often adjacent to or integrated with our petrochemical clients) or in downstream petrochemicals would be a plus. You must be able to travel internationally for periods of 2-3 weeks, up to 30 a year. Process modelling and simulation skills are required. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
