Agents are available 365 days per year, 24-hours per day (we're never not Geeks).Accuratas et Celeritas - Latin for Accurate and Swift. To do everything within your powers to meet their needs and help them get the most of their technology as you do! Requirements You and your skills¨Have good knowledge of Operating Systems from Windows 98 SE to Windows Vista and Mac, networking, any Microsoft office programmes, all periphery devices such as printers, MP3 players, and routers (wireless and direct)¨Be able to troubleshoot software and hardware issues and provide solutions to the customer¨Be organised, diligent and thorough¨Ability to display patience and optimism with slow, angry, and novice end-users.Geek Squad Assessment Centres will assess technical skills and ability Responsibilities Your purposeWhen a customer calls Geek Squad they will be offered either a home visit or a remote service depending on their requirements. When customers request a remote service the call will be routed through to you. You will take complete ownership of the customer's issues and deploy your knowledge and skills to provide the solution.Your responsibilities¨Provide over the phone 'walked-through' customer support to whatever scenario faces you¨Take online control of the customer's computer to deploy local fix, as needed¨Question and listen to ensure you are fully informed of customer's computer usage to ensure your solution is the right one¨Sell further products and / or solutions based on information you have gleaned of customer's further potential needs¨Keep your technology knowledge completely up-to-date (as if you wouldn't anyway!)¨Take full ownership for finding solutions to client's issues¨Be complete brand ambassadors standing for and championing all Geek Squad values and qualitiesInternal Closing Date: Monday 18th August
