Work is carried out using both voice recognition and keyboarding, therefore touch-typing is essential to an application. Also essential is familiarity with computer software programmes and the ability to adapt to subtitling software. To meet the ever-changing requirements of subtitling, these positions will suit applicants with a genuine interest in all types of television programming, a flexible approach to work and the willingness to cover a variety of shift patterns, to include weekends and public holidays.
