Contract: Industry sectors:ITSERVICE DESK SUPPORT OFFICER Band 5 £20,225 - £26,123 pa 37.5 Hours per week Shifts to include Evenings and Weekends Ref: 608-A&C08-72 Highly experienced in working within a Service Desk environment, you will understand the vital role the Service Desk plays in the success of an IT department. With excellent communication skills and a business focused approach you will be key to increasing customer satisfaction. A self-starter, with plenty of initiative and a pragmatic approach you will quickly win confidence from both users and IT colleagues. Working in a team of three, you will provide first line support to users across the healthcare community. You will also be responsible for the creation of monthly, weekly and ad-hoc reports on Service Desk performance. You will provide a "single point of contact" for all queries to the IT department and must display a high level of interpersonal skills at all time. You will either hold an IT related degree or have the equivalent level of experience within an IT support environment. Specifically, you will have already had extensive experience of working on a Service Desk.
