Contract: Industry sectors:IT Job Description Purpose of the role:Reporting in to the Finance Systems Manager, the purpose of this role is to support the finance community by provision of technical services such as the support and development of all bespoke financial & procurement modules used by AOL Broadband including databases, and manage facilitation of interfaces / reports. A technically skilled resource is required to compliment the Finance Systems team in delivering solutions to the finance business community on all Financial & Procurement related applications. Main Duties & Responsibilities:Primary duties would be to ensure business continuity and manage existing bespoke financial related applications by working within the Finance Systems Team in the support and fault resolution of issues raised by the finance community (50%) and enhancing existing applications to facilitate best practice / performance improvements. In addition to which, there will be a level of involvement with upcoming key projects such as; inclusion/migration of the AOL BB Luxembourg entity onto the CODA general ledger applications, migrating the Networks entity onto CODA Procurement, assisting with the upgrade of v9 to v11 CODA Applications, and possible group ERP rollout.The candidate will be required to play a key role in assisting the team to provide day to day support regarding bespoke financial modules used by the AOL Broadband business, whilst assisting with varying on-going projects within the department / team over the coming financial year. The role is responsible for all data import / export within the supported applications, and will act as a representative for and liase with the Infrastructure team to ensure data (and databases) are stable and managed efficiently. People Management:Potential to build small data Management Team covering areas such as report writing, interfaces (data import /export), database administration, management and performance.
